Mountain Hub has partnered with Mammut to bring a better experience outside to outdoor professionals. Qualified professionals have complete access to a Mountain Hub professional account for free to discover, experience, and share within the pro community or the broader public.

Before you apply to Mountain Hub Pro, please read the criteria / guidelines below. Unlike many traditional pro purchase programs, Mountain Hub Pro is entirely for outdoor professionals that have demonstrated professional knowledge through their career, certifications, education, or otherwise. Examples of Mountain Hub professionals include AMGA, IFMGA, and ACMG guides, ski patrollers, search and rescue professionals, outdoor educators, Park Service and Forest Service professionals, wildfire fighters, and members of the military with demonstrated professional outdoor knowledge and skill level.

Criteria for becoming a Mountain Hub Professional (any of the following)
Demonstrated professional outdoor knowledge through a professional certification.
Examples of professional certifications include AMGA, IFMGA, ACMG, PSIA, NRPA, National Ski Patrol, etc.

Demonstrated professional outdoor knowledge through a professional outdoor job.
Examples of outdoor professionals include ski patrollers, certified guides (rock, ice, alpine, fishing, rafting, etc.), search & rescue, etc.

Demonstrated professional outdoor knowledge as an outdoor educator.
Examples of outdoor educators include avalanche instructors, outdoor leadership program instructors, wilderness first aid instructors, etc.

Demonstrated professional outdoor knowledge as a member of the military.
Examples of military outdoor professionals include instructors of outdoor programs in the military, special forces trained in the outdoors, etc.

Demonstrated professional outdoor knowledge through an education institution.
Examples of education related outdoor professionals include professors of outdoor education programs, PhD researchers in outdoor focus areas, professional wildlife biologists, etc.

Demonstrated professional outdoor knowledge through outdoor government related professions.
Examples include members of the US Forest Service and National Park Service.
Who is an outdoor pro?
A person whose profession involves working outdoors on a frequent basis such as a guide, park ranger, ski patroller, wildfire fighter, outdoor educator, or search and rescue crew. Someone who has demonstrated professional knowledge through their profession, career, certification, education, or otherwise.
Who is not an outdoor pro?
Someone who works in the outdoor industry for a company as an engineer, designer, salesperson, etc., and does not possess any professional certification(s).

Someone who has been approved for pro discounts through a pro purchase program, but is not an outdoor professional as defined by the criteria above.

1. First, if you do not already have an account, please register for a Mountain Hub Account at on the web or on your mobile phone on our iOS app or Android app. Please use the same email for your account as you use for this application.
2. Fill out the Mountain Hub pro application below.
3. Due to a high volume of applications, we are only able to process applications in large batches once per month. Rest assured, we will notify you of your acceptance as soon as possible!
